Dawn Fog
Anyone else feel foggy at dawn?
Dawn Fog River
I photograph and therefore write about some things more than others, and, as faithful readers will know, have two recurring themes, both of which I chose as topics of recent blogs:
Dawn
and Fog
don't always occur together, and by homing in on the (near-euphoric) occasions when they do coincide, I omit, in this instance, about seventy-five photographs which I have produced since the last blog (on Photography in Brockville). So stay tuned; you may see some of those others in the near future.
Dawn Fog, St. Lawrence River Island
The photographs above and below emerged from the same photography session, the lower one about a half hour later and viewed from a spot about half a kilometre further east along the shore. So, the light changed (although both before sunrise), and the perspective changed.
I enjoy comparing them, the same subject so different with only those two small changes.
Dawn Fog, Island
So, it's good to feel foggy upon awakening.
Remember to look through my portfolio, which has separate folders for Dawn and for Fog. Almost everything is for sale. I favour large wall art, and also deal in small prints, notecards, and (most recently) postcards.
Thank you all so much for reading! I would love to hear from you.
