Brockville Library Exhibition

a public fine-art photography show

Dawn River Rain Fog

It's a bit of a long story (for some other time), but I have a show up at the Brockville Public Library.

First of all, isn't this a marvellous thing for the Library to do? At any given time, they feature one or more artists. At the moment I am sharing with Brockville's amazing Marie-Louise Scappaticci, who has produced an exhibition comprising numerous portraits of pandemic-hero health-care providers. She is up for over six months, me for April and May (2022).

Second, the Library functions as a gallery, with no commercial interest. So when you wish to purchase a work, please contact me directly. I will redirect a portion of all sales back to the Library as a donation.

I provided fifteen works for this show, and to date we have found space for thirteen. Stay tuned for if and when this changes. In the meantime, the work above is safely tucked away at the studio.

A full list of all fifteen, with sizes, details and prices, is available on my website. And of course, if you would like a different size or framing, then I can make that happen.

I like the way the show looks, which is lucky; it's a library!

The Covid-19 Pandemic Is Not Over

Although of course I would like people to see the exhibition — that's why it's there — the pandemic still rages, and Medical Officers of Health provincially and federally strongly urge continuing caution. My party and I, all as vaccinated as possible, eased into the Library, wearing high-quality masks, at opening on a Sunday, hoping for it to be quiet then, which it was.

Anyway, end-of-rant. Here is a sampling of some of the other works.

A Big Thank You to the Brockville Public Library!

I want to mention how wonderful the Library staff has been to deal with (thank you, B.!).

My website has links to a digital display of the entire fifteen-work show, as well as details on how they are framed, sizes, prices, etc. Remember that a portion of each sale will return to the library.

We can of course discuss variations on things like size and framing, for customized renditions.

You may wish to look through my larger portfolio. Almost everything is for sale. I favour large wall art, and also deal in small prints, notecards, and postcards.
